Next to the magnificent Town Hall building on Tallinn Town Hall Square, a fairy-tale Christmas market takes place, making you believe that everything is possible! The action takes place around the most important Christmas tree in Estonia, which also holds the longest tradition in Europe with a tree first being displayed here in 1441.
The lively Christmas land is decorated with fir trees, Christmas decorations and lights. The merchants offer a wide selection of handicrafts and local caterers prepare Estonian Christmas meals from blood sausages and sauerkraut to gingerbread and warming Christmas drinks. The smallest guests of the fair will be entertained by carousels and the hearts will be warmed by a versatile Christmas programme.
The real pearl of the Christmas market is Santa Claus, who receives children in his house. And surprise, surprise – Santa Claus arrives with a family of reindeer!
The Christmas market is open daily from 10.00 to 19.00.
Hot drinks are available until 23.00.
Come and enjoy the magical Christmas time with the whole family!
